Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all services provided by DBaaS.dev, including managed PostgreSQL database instances, the ephemeral database API, and any related infrastructure or tooling. This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and constitutes a binding part of the agreement between the Customer and DBaaS.dev.

By creating an account, accessing the API, or using any DBaaS.dev service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your access, without refund or prior notice, and may be reported to the relevant authorities where applicable law requires or permits.

Scope: This AUP applies to all data stored in, transmitted through, or processed by DBaaS.dev databases — including databases provisioned on behalf of third parties using the DBaaS.dev API.

DBaaS.dev infrastructure must not be used in connection with spam or unsolicited bulk messaging operations. The following are expressly prohibited:

The integrity of the shared infrastructure on which DBaaS.dev operates is essential for all customers. The following are strictly prohibited:

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of DBaaS.dev infrastructure that violates this AUP — including by other customers — please report it to [email protected]. Include as much detail as possible: the nature of the abuse, relevant database identifiers or IP addresses, and any supporting evidence.

We investigate all credible reports and will take appropriate action, which may include suspension of the offending account, reporting to law enforcement, or notification of affected parties.

7. Enforcement

DBaaS.dev reserves the right to:

DBaaS.dev assumes no liability for actions taken in good faith to enforce this AUP. Customers found in serious violation of this AUP — in particular Sections 1 (Malware), 2 (Illegal Content), and 4 (Network Abuse) — may be permanently banned from the service with no right of reinstatement.

8. Relationship to Terms of Service

This AUP forms part of and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency, except where this AUP imposes a stricter restriction — in which case this AUP shall prevail.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material updates will be notified in accordance with the notice provisions in the Terms of Service. Continued use of the service following notification constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
