Vector database · Free plan
Free managed Qdrant hosting
A Qdrant vector database for embeddings, semantic search and RAG — ready in about a minute, reached over TLS with an API key. No credit card, no servers to run.
What you get
Real Qdrant 1.19
The open-source Qdrant server, so the official Python, JavaScript, Rust, Go and .NET clients work as they are. REST and gRPC are both available.
TLS on every connection
Certificates from a public authority, trusted by every client out of the box. Plain-text connections are refused.
API key you can rotate
Rotate the key from the dashboard whenever you like. The old key stops working right away; the database is back within about half a minute.
IP allow list
Limit access to your servers' addresses. Anything not on the list cannot connect.
Daily backups, one-click restore
A backup is taken every day and the latest is kept. Restore it from the dashboard in one click.
Dashboard and console
Live memory, storage and request charts, plus a console for running REST calls against your collections from the browser.
The free plan
Connect in a minute
Your dashboard shows the host, ports and API key. Install the client with pip install qdrant-client.

-H "api-key: <api-key>"Questions
Is this the real Qdrant?⌄
Yes. It is the unmodified open-source Qdrant server, version 1.19, so any Qdrant client or integration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack and others) connects with just the URL and API key.
How much can I store on the free plan?⌄
2 GB of storage and 384 MB of memory. Collections live on disk, so a few hundred thousand 384-dimension vectors with small payloads fit comfortably.
What happens if I stop using it?⌄
After 4 days without any requests the database pauses; resume it from the dashboard and your data is still there. After 60 days without use it is deleted, and we email you before that happens.
Do I need a credit card?⌄
No. Sign in with Google and create the database. The free plan has no trial period.
Is DBaaS.dev affiliated with Qdrant?⌄
No. DBaaS.dev is an independent service that runs the unmodified open-source Qdrant server. Qdrant is a trademark of Qdrant Solutions GmbH, used here only to name the database we host.
